LaserVue Medical Associates Now Offering Custom Laser Vision Correction

The first LASIK procedure designed to provide personalized laser vision correction for people with nearsightedness and astigmatism is available at LaserVue Medical Associates, with offices in San Francisco, Mountain View, Walnut Creek, Stockton and Santa Rosa. The new CustomVueÔ system, approved last Friday by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), uses WaveScan technology to identify unique imperfections within the eye, guiding the laser to provide personalized correction. LaserVue Medical Associates was involved in the early testing and development of WaveScan technology and is one of the first offices in the San Francisco Bay Area to provide custom LASIK treatment.
